The Propaganda Study Institute is committed to preserving democracy, collective security, and integrity through studying the methods and technologies, applied by totalitarian regimes and terrorist organisations to conduct informational operations and wage the hybrid warfare against democracies.

Our goals:
⁃ Exposing organisations and individuals, involved in hybrid warfare against democratic countries.
⁃ Finding ways of countering propaganda and misinformation.
⁃ Researching the hybrid warfare, conducted by totalitarian regimes.
⁃ Developing and implementing legal solutions to protect democracies against the informational terrorism.

Andrew Kulish

Communications specialist, founder of the YouTube channel “Operator Starsky”, veteran of the Ukrainian National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine, former NCO in the infantry (2016-2018), press-officer of the Operative Brigade of the National Guard (2019-2024). Co-founder of the Propaganda Study Institute.

Bogdan Butkevich

Journalist, musician, political analyst, TV and radio host. Author and host of the popular YouTube channels «CENSOR.NET» and «SHOWBISYKY». Host of his own radio show on Radio «Kyiv 98 FM». Bogdan worked for many Ukrainian media, such as the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine,  «Ukrainian Week», «Espresso», «Newspaper in Ukrainian”. Winner of the Honor of Profession Award. He plays in the music bands «Pyryatyn» and «Ukiez».

Olena Vostrova

Media manager, political psychologist. Author and host of the media projects «IPSO», “Green Corridor», and evening analytical live show «Picture of the Day», Radio “Kyiv 98 FM”. Before worked for Hromadske Radio and the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine. Runs her YouTube channel. Founder and president of the NGO «MediaProjects.UA». Works with international donor organizations, implemented over 20 media projects. Mental health and psychosocial support specialist, certified by the International Medical Corps.

Myroslav Burtovyi

A designer in the IT field and founder of the t-shirt brand MYRNO print, as well as the Etsy store “From Ukraine with Hugs and Love,” Believe in open-mindedness and clear vision, blending art with advocacy. Involved in the Propaganda Study Institute project alongside experts like Andrew Kulish, Bogdan Butkevich, and Olena Vostrova, the focus is on combating misinformation and protecting democracy against informational terrorism. This involvement necessitates a fusion of creative design with digital proficiency to effectively communicate and visualize the mission of preserving integrity in the digital age.
