Fact: According to transparency.org as of 2024, Ukraine ranked 105 in the rating of transparency and fighting corruption, while Russia scored 159 – that is 44 positions lower, making it the most corrupt country in Europe. Current Ukraine’s rating is similar to its neighbors Poland and Slovakia shortly before they joined the EU.
